Setting up new email queue - "Missing fields" error

Settings are as followed:

Queue type:Tickets
Mailbox type:IMAPSSL
Queue template group:Default
Email queue is enabled:Yes
Port number:993
Leave email on the server after fetching:No
Use the same mailserver to send email:Yes
SMTP connection type:TLS

This is identical to other queues. The connection verifies fine, but when "Insert" is clicked to create the queue, we get the error:

Custom Fields in E-mail notifications

Hi everybody.

I've created a new custom field (Order number), it works fine when user submits a ticket on the site and displays fine in the helpdesk.

But in the e-mail notification there is no sign of it, so you can't really tell what's ORDER number is unless you open up helpdesk and check there.

How can I do proper integration of custom field into email notifications sent to user & staff ?

Hi,
I have inherited a system to maintain so unfortunately am very sketchy on how this system actually works
Problem I'm having is that following an unexpected power off the other day the helpdesk database seems to be having a fit when I try to login.
However other websites using the MySQL are unaffected

I dont know how much info I would need to detail about the error message to be able to throw myself upon the mercy of the forums for assistance but here goes

Hi all,

I am trying to import our old version 3 helpdesk into our new install of 4. When running the php import (which is far, far more efficient than the HTML import), I ran into the error above. Any idea what would cause this error?

We are using a classic license that we own, and will need to move our software to a new hosting site.
We are looking for someone that has experience with this.
We have not paid for any customs mods.
We have about 40gbs of Data.

Hi there,

I was unable to find settings in config.php for enforcing secure connections between Kayako frontend and MySQL backend. Support team at Kayako then confirmed that MySQL over SSL connections is not currently feasible.

I think encrypted communications are mandatory nowadays, wherever possible, and would highly recommend having this feature supported in Kayako Download.

By the way, I wonder whether MySQL is using secured connections in Kayako cloud version.

My hosting provider wrote that they don't support all kayako's server requirements. I must to buy another hosting plan with very high cost.
Are critical important for kayako?
1.xcache, apc or eaccelerator (not install)
2.max_execution_time 600 (300 only)
3.max_input_time 600 (300 only)

Hello Team ,

We have been using kayako for long time now. We want our end users to be able to login with their email addresses (not usernames). Is this possible and if yes is there a manual that i can follow to configure it?

P. S. If the parameter:

define('KAYAKO_LDAP_STRIP_EMAIL', true);

is set in config.php file it is possible for customer to login with the email address, but obviously fail if the username is different than the email address.

Working example: if the username is "test"...

I have a DEV domain registered with my license key. As maintenance has expired I need to test carefully the 4.90 release prior to deciding to update from 4.80.2. For example sake SITE1 is the production site. SITE1DEV is the dev domain. I backed up the site1 database and restored it to site1dev for testing. I copied the web files and then copied in and performed the upgrade to 4.90.1. When I login to the staff portal it's redirecting me to SITE1, I assume due to some configuration setting. Is...

Tickets have stopped auto closing

Hi everyone.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I have been using Kayako for a number of years and have had no real issues. However for some reason my tickets have now stopped auto closing and I have no idea why. The cron is still running on my server and my setting look correct, even though I've had a little play around trying to get this to work.

Here's my setup and auto close rule.

Product: Fusion
Version 4.60.0.3971

Any help is appreciated.
